Manager - Human Resources up to $85K The HR Manager of the Division is responsible for wide array of HR activities and responsibilities. This person has a primary responsibility for the Division while working closely with the HR team at the Complex and the Corporation. In addition, this position supports key Corporate initiatives and special projects as assigned by the Vice President of Human Resources. The position has a key impact on the Division's performance by providing support that includes, but is not limited to, driving organizational change as a key business partner; employee relations; staffing; dispute resolution; employee engagement; administrative expertise; people development; training; communications; measuring key metrics; governmental compliance; and policy/procedure interpretation.
Responsibilities:- Spearheads change processes for the facility as directed by the leadership. - Provides expert resource for employee relations. - Provides key support for engagement activities, drive the process as needed. - Provides problem resolution support for managers and other employees. - Leads employee relations strategy that supports the business plan, incorporates HR best practices, complies with corporate direction and creates a positive work environment. - Develops and provides communication plans for local facility and region. - Provides administrative expertise and understanding; interfaces between employees and outside resources as needed. - Educates and coaches regarding company policies, work rules, best practices, federal and state regulations. - Ensures fair and consistent delivery of HR products and services. - Develops and maintains affirmative action program, files EEO-1 reports, maintains records, reports and logs to conform to EEO/OFCCP regulations. - Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel; conducts some new employee orientations. - Maintains HRIS/Optimum information. - Coordination of Personnel Compliance requirements, ie, affirmative action, legal postings, company postings, training coordination, administrative compliance, etc. - Spearhead projects assigned in support of corporate initiatives. - Responsible for research, suggestive interpretations and application of HR policies, administration and Payroll. REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (or related field) or a Bachelor's plus PHR/SPHR certification. - 5 years HR generalist experience in manufacturing environment.
