Injection Molder Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an experienced injection molder maintenance technician from thermoplastics injection industries and/or with experience in RIM. They would take on a lead role in leading required maintenance and processing of our rim molding equipment.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance technician may prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs. Re-calibrate molding machinery per annual preventative maintenance plan. Complete maintenance issues as they arise and complete necessary documentation for each assignment. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. Resolve auxiliary equipment issues as they arise. Understanding of basic hydraulic and electrical systems along with proper safety issues. Understanding of electrical and hydraulic prints. Follow preventative maintenance plan for molding equipment on a daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual schedule, or per customer requests.Ability to perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. Minimum of 2 years of experiencemaster molding or equivalent preferred. Excellentverbal communication skills. Self-directed and highly motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision. Can work equally well individually as well as in a design team setting. Good trouble shooting skills. Positive, can do attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, bend and reach with up to 50 pounds occasionally. Able to work on your feet up to 10 hours per day. Able to wear a respirator if necessary.

Has a hands-on approach to problem solving and design. Knowledge of and experience working in and around an ISO certified manufacturing facilities.

Operate fork truck when needed.Maintain cleanliness of general work area
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
